Build practical skill. Create your next opportunity.
This course helps learners approach Sinhala through useful communication rather than isolated word lists. Listening and speaking begin with introductions, questions, numbers, directions and everyday needs. Reading and writing activities support recognition of the Sinhala script and the language used in simple notices, forms and messages.
Guided role-plays connect the language to travel, shopping, campus life and customer conversations. Learners practise pronunciation, appropriate greetings and ways to ask for clarification. Regular repetition and short tasks help a learner move from recognising a phrase to using it with greater independence.
